PREPARE YOUR HAIR:
Apply the dye to dry hair. It is recommended not to wash your hair 24 hours before colouring, as the natural oils produced by the scalp provide a protective barrier. It is important to ensure there are no traces of styling products (leave-in treatments, conditioners, etc.) on your hair.
HOW TO APPLY
- To mix Herbatint Gel and Developer, use the Herbatint measuring cup found in the Herbatint Application Kit to mix equal parts of color and developer. The quantity you use depends on the length and volume of your hair. Note: If you don’t own an Application Kit, you can use a plastic or glass measuring cup, but NEVER use a metal measuring device.
- Mix with a brush until you obtain a gel-like consistency. Starting at the root, apply the gel to dry, unwashed hair. Tilt your head back while you rinse so that the gel does not get into your eyes.
- Once processed, rinse hair thoroughly until the water runs clear. Rinse by tilting head back (Do NOT use shampoo for 48 hours).
- Finally, apply the Royal Cream Conditioner and leave on the hair for five minutes. Rinse again and style as usual

What is Herbatint 9N Honey Blonde?
It is a 4.5 fl oz Herbatint permanent herbal hair colour gel in shade 9N Honey Blonde. The pack contains colour gel, developer, a Royal Cream sample, gloves and an instruction leaflet.
What are its ingredients, texture and typical use?
The gel includes eight certified organic plant extracts such as aloe vera, witch hazel, birch, echinacea, walnut, rhubarb, cinchona and meadowfoam, and it has a smooth gel texture. The Natural series is intended for balanced, natural-looking permanent colour; the formula also contains phenylenediamine (PPD) and hydrogen peroxide.
Who is it for?
It is intended for adults aged 16 or over who want permanent home hair colour and are ready to follow the allergy test, strand test and full application instructions. It is not for use on eyelashes or eyebrows.
How should I use it?
Mix equal parts colour gel and developer in a plastic or glass bowl, never a metal bowl, then apply to dry, unwashed hair and leave for about 40 minutes. Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear, apply the Royal Cream for five minutes, then rinse again.
What safety precautions should I follow?
Hair colourants can cause severe allergic reactions, so perform the 48-hour sensitivity test before every application, wear gloves and avoid contact with eyes. Do not use if you have a rash or irritated scalp, have reacted to hair dye or a black henna tattoo, or are under 16; read the leaflet and rinse eyes immediately if contact occurs.
How should I store it?
Keep the unmixed colour gel and developer tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight. Follow the leaflet for any unused unmixed product and keep everything out of reach of children.
Which products pair with it?
Use the developer supplied in the pack and finish with the included Royal Cream. Herbatint shades can also be combined according to the leaflet, such as mixing a C, D, M or R tone with the matching N shade.
