Frequently Asked Questions (Q&A)
What is Cypress Essential Oil 30ml?
The 30ml bottle contains 100% pure cypress oil identified as Cupressus sempervirens. The other ingredient listed is pure cypress oil.
What material is distilled for this Cypress oil?
According to the label, the leaves and branches of Cupressus sempervirens are steam-distilled to produce the oil. (Sources: product label and NOW Foods product page, checked 2026-11-01.)
How is the Cypress scent described?
It is sweet and balsamic with warm pine and juniper berry overtones. The listed attributes are balancing, clarifying and centering.
What use does the Cypress label recommend?
Use it for aromatherapy. For all other uses, carefully dilute the Cypress oil with a carrier oil such as jojoba, grapeseed, olive or almond and consult a professional reference.
What warnings accompany the 30ml Cypress bottle?
Cypress oil is for aromatic use or use after dilution; the neat oil is not to be swallowed and must be kept away from the eyes. Place the original bottle beyond children's reach and speak to a practitioner if pregnant or breastfeeding.
How should I store Cypress essential oil?
Close the original 30ml cap tightly after use and keep the bottle at room temperature. Avoid extreme heat, direct sunlight and humid storage cabinets.
Does the Cypress label list a specific oil pairing?
This label does not provide a “mixes well with” list or a fixed diffuser recipe. Follow its general aromatherapy and careful dilution directions instead.
