Salvia Sclarea (Clary Sage) Oil
Frequently Asked Questions (Q&A)
What makes Clary Sage Essential Oil 30ml distinctive?
The bottle contains steam-distilled Salvia sclarea oil from the plant’s aerial parts, with a herbaceous, lavender-like aroma. It is sold as a concentrated aromatic oil.
Which clary sage plant material is distilled?
The label identifies Salvia sclarea and states that steam distillation uses the aerial parts. (Sources: product label and NOW Foods product page, checked 2026-11-01.)
Who is the clary sage oil intended for?
It is intended for adults who enjoy its herbaceous scent and can follow the label; keep it away from children and seek prior professional advice during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
How should the clary sage diffuser blend be prepared?
The label’s Refresh Yourself Blend uses 1 drop clary sage, 1 drop lemon and 1 drop ginger oil. Follow the diffuser directions and dilute for any non-aromatic use.
What clary sage safety points are essential?
Do not swallow Salvia sclarea oil or let it touch the eyes, and keep the 30ml bottle away from children. Pregnant or breastfeeding users should ask a practitioner first; this is not a medicine.
Where should the clary sage bottle be kept?
Keep this 30ml Salvia sclarea bottle tightly closed at room temperature in its original packaging, away from heat, direct sun and humid bathrooms.
What pairs well with it?
The label’s diffuser example combines clary sage with lemon and ginger oils.
