It suits all skin and hair types, especially sensitive, dry or easily irritated skin, and is ideal for formulators making gentle cleansers, baby products, shampoos and body washes.
What does it look and feel like?
It is a clear to slightly hazy liquid with a mild characteristic odour typical of amino-acid surfactants. It lathers into a rich, creamy, stable foam that feels lubricating and non-stripping on skin.
How should I use it?
Use at 10-30% of the total formula as the main or co-surfactant in cleansers, shampoos and body washes. Adjust viscosity with xanthan gum or a salt system, and finish with a preservative for water-based formulas.
What can I pair it with?
It pairs well with decyl glucoside or cocamidopropyl betaine for richer foam, with xanthan gum for thickening, and with Beyond Aroma glycerin, vitamin B5 and hydrosols for gentle, nourishing cleansers.

Yes. It is derived from plant-sourced amino acids, contains no animal ingredients, and is vegan, cruelty-free and readily biodegradable.
